HELPING YOUTH BECOME INDEPENDENT AND CONTRIBUTING CITIZENS TO THEIR COMMUNITY.

OUR MISSION

To offer purposeful support to youth and their parents in the differently abled community. We strive to empower and enlighten parents and support youth as they build functional life skills and develop independency.

OUR VISION

To be a haven which increases youth’s life skills independence and encourage parents to reclaim their parenting joys.

WE BELIEVE, ALL ARE CAPABLE OF LEARNING AND REACHING THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL BY FOCUSING ON THEIR ABILITIES.

We focus on essential life skills and strengthen family circles.

OUR FOCUS

Sandra and her team help youth discover, experience, and broaden their verbal behavior by addressing ways to make ‘their language’ functional. We teach essential self-care, domestic and pre-job skills to foster independence and to be contributing citizens of their communities.
We help families overcome challenges in their home and community. We meet families where they are and build on their strengths.

OUR APPROACH

Our unique approach consists of five components: natural environment, systematic instruction, individualization, behavior management and hands on tasks and activities. We have found that these five components working together has produced notable progress for each youth. These components help youth succeed in areas of navigating their environment, communicating wants and needs, helping their family with household chores, engaging in play, self-care skills and more. Their abilities are immeasurable…creating the opportunity is the first step.
We model evidence-based principles, incorporate practical learning instruction, and approach each youth’s needs individually. We don’t have a magic wand or follow a script. We simply believe in each youth by seizing every moment as a learning opportunity. Private instruction with our specialists, youth are equipped with wings to soar.
